Next up to join Sinetiq is Andreas Everos, our new System Architect. He will focus on developing our test tool, xTT, and fine-tuning our customers' systems to better align with the SOA approach.
Andreas began his journey at Luleå University of Technology, where he pursued a degree in System Development. However, it was actually outside of the studies that he discovered his true passion: the open-source community.
– I have learned at least as much from participating in development projects within various open-source communities as I did during my university studies. It is a perfect way to challenge yourself, test your skills, and learn to collaborate with other developers, says Andreas.
Andreas was already working as a consultant before joining Sinetiq. And at one of his assignments, he met one of our consultants, who was impressed by his work.
– I had a good impression of Sinetiq right from the start. However, it was when I heard that they, like me, also want to focus on product development that my interest was truly captured. Now, I look forward to devoting my time to developing Sinetiq’s testing tool, xTT, and assisting our customers with their software architecture.
Describing Sinetiq as a company, Andreas primarily highlights two things – the family feeling and the fact that people often work together to solve challenges.
– There are numerous areas of expertise represented here, and they all interact with one another. We have experts in database and system integrations, and those who specialize in the architecture of each of these – that’s where I come in, and I really enjoy the co-creative culture.
When not working as a System Architect, Andreas likes to challenge himself with another sort of architecture. The ones you try to climb.
– I very much enjoy bouldering at Klätterhuset in Luleå. It is essentially climbing without any ropes, so you really get to work your strength, technique, and coordination. The next step is to try it outside, I just need to invest in a crashpad, safety first, right?
We thank Andreas for the interview, and once again, welcome to Sinetiq!
