David Rutqvist has been appointed Sinetiq’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Previously working as a system architect at the company, he now also takes on a leading role in realizing Sinetiq's technical vision and strategy.
Sinetiq specializes in flexible system integration, a field critical for industrial companies undergoing digital transformation. The company is on a growth journey, serving customers worldwide and welcoming several new team members to its offices in Luleå and Stockholm. David Rutqvist, who has worked as a system architect at Sinetiq since 2022, now steps into the role of CTO to drive the company’s technical vision and strategy forward. Among other responsibilities, he will lead the development of Sinetiq’s product and service offerings.

In his new role, David will be based at Sinetiq’s Stockholm office. He looks forward to strengthening the company’s presence in the Mälardalen region, a key stepping stone to the European market.

David previously held roles such as Engineering Manager at Klarna. He was recruited to Sinetiq by CEO Karl-Johan Gramner, who recognized David as a strategically important hire for the company’s future.
